I have had the worst experience with Dr.'s, especially when it came to OB's and Gynaecologist's. I came across Dr. Hayes merely by accident.
My husband and I spent years trying to conceive. When we finally did, the doctors office we had been going to would no longer see me, not even for an official pregnancy test. The reason...they don't take OB patients with my insurance.
So we ended up at a large office in Greenville, they ran a bunch of expensive tests then told me I couldn't see a Dr. until I was at leaste 14 weeks, even with all the problems I had had.
This brings me to how I met Dr. Hayes... I was visiting some family an hour from where I live in Greenville, SC when I began to miscarry. I ended up at the local hospital where Dr. Hayes was on call, he was very kind throughout the entire experience.
Afterwards I didn't want to return to what my husband called the baby manufacturer in Greenville. So I asked to continue with Dr. Hayes even though it was a 45 minute drive. Two months later I was pregnant for the second time. I received exceptional care and I was able to deliver exactly the way I wanted to, with a waterbirth.
We now have a beautiful 4 month old little girl and I hope our next baby will be delivered by Dr. Hayes as well.
